• MidSouth Bank, an independent community bank committed to serving local communities, has opened its first Tallahassee location in the heart of the capital city’s Midtown. With the new opening, MidSouth Bank has also announced the appointment of Chris Edwards as Market President. A seasoned commercial loan officer, Edwards spent 15 years in the Atlanta market in commercial and small business lending for regional and community banks.
体育在线365• For the second year in a row, Hancock Whitney, in partnership with the Greater New Orleans Foundation, has awarded competitive grants to help nonprofits broaden community development efforts across the five Gulf South states the bank serves. Two local agencies—the Tallahassee Lenders Consortium and Good News Outreach—received recognition and grant awards totaling $25,000. Through its competitive grant program, Hancock Whitney awarded a grand total of $200,000 to 16 eligible 501 (c)(3) organizations engaged in affordable housing construction and rehabilitation for low-to-moderate-income individuals.
Dr. Temple Robinson, CEO of the Bond Community Health Center, has been named to the 2020 Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) Governance Unit--Primary Care Expert Content Committee. Dr. Robinson’s committee will specifically be charged with reviewing and recommending peer-reviewed, evidence-based standards for patient care in the primary care field that ensure quality and are facility specific.
